Support for Older Adults and Their Families

Getting older sometimes means needing a little extra help, whether that’s a hot meal, a ride, someone to talk to, or help sorting out Medicare. You don’t have to figure it out alone. The organizations below serve Redmond and the wider Central Oregon region and most of their help is free.

Council on Aging of Central Oregon

The Council on Aging is the regional hub for aging services across Bend, Redmond, Sisters, La Pine, Madras, and Prineville. Their Help Desk can point you toward Meals on Wheels, Medicare counseling, caregiver support, in-home help, and more, one call gets you started.

Redmond Senior Center

The local hub for Redmond and Crooked River Ranch seniors. Delivers Meals on Wheels, runs community dining and social activities, and offers Passion for Pets, a program that provides pet food to homebound Meals on Wheels clients so they can keep caring for their animals.

ClearPath Healthcare

ClearPath Healthcare, formerly Hospice of Redmond, has served Central Oregon since 1979. They specialize in hospice care and offer a free Transitions support program, in-home primary care for adults 55+, bereavement support, Camp Sunrise grief camp, veterans support, and the Pet Peace of Mind program.
